I picked "The Reader" for my first selection (Oprah) because I wanted to see the movie and was glad to see it was in the category I had for January. I always like to read the book before seeing the movie.

I finished my January selection The Reader (Oprah's). I really got into it and I would recommend it. It's a small book-218 pages and a lot of short chapters.
The two main topics are a fifteen year old boy's affair with a woman twice his age and a concentration camp trial. I don't want to say much more about it because I don't want to give anything away.
On to picking out my February selection.
I'm enjoying the bookclub, thanks Carolyn for all the hard work you put into it and answering all my questions and helping me improve my computer skills.

I forget to mention in my last post, if anyone is interested in reading "The Reader", you may have my copy. Just let me know and I will send it to you.
