I picked this book on Karen and Bill's recommendation. (Also see the entry under the Mystery category) I loved this book. It was a very interesting journey into the world of deep sea wreck diving, U-boats and some of the stories from WWII. I realized how little I knew about the dangers of deep sea diving. Karen gave a very good description of the book. I too was touched by the stories of the U-boat personnel. They became very real and I was totally with the divers wanting the families to know what happened to their loved ones. Some of the tales of the divers were pretty intense. I even checked the Nova special about this story out of the library. I would highly recommend this book and think it was one of best I've read this year.

5 out of 5 stars.

I think I'm going to snag this one as "without a net" ... even though it's from Bill to you and Karen!
