The Night of Four Hundred Rabbits by Elizabeth Peters

I picked this book because I have read some of E. Peter's other books and enjoyed them. Plus it was a small paperback and I was going in vacation. I only thought this book was so-so. I didn't care that much for the characters and it was all a bit too vague even for a mystery. I would highly recommended The Crocodile on the Sandbank or The Summer of the Dragon. She told those stories far better and I really liked the characters in those books.
