I found this book at the library and thought I'd give it a chance. This was the first one in a series. It was okay. I felt it was trying to be America's answer to Harry Potter. It is about two kids who find out they have the power to be wizards and are "sent, tricked or blindly stumble" on a quest to save the girl's pen and end up having to save the world from evil. Some of the ideas in it were cool but I felt it jumped to alot of complicated ideas, plots etc. without the foundation to get there. I didn't have any desire to go to the next book.
